GIVING
Thank you for your interest in giving financially to Hope Church.
We are grateful to everyone who gives regularly to Hope Church, it enables us to do all that God has called us to do in Guildford and beyond. All our income comes from those who attend Hope church and it enables us to pay our staff, hire venues, run courses and events and provide refreshments.

As a church we also give away at least 10% of our income. There are several groups and charities that we support financially and in other ways. We believe hope works.

We would encourage all those who call Hope Church their home to give in proportion to their income. We encourage everyone to give through their bank or through, our app called ChurchSuite. Each Sunday we share how to do this.

We are committed to excellent financial management at Hope Church. We do all we can to maintain the highest levels of integrity with the resources God gives us.

Examples of steps we’ve taken include:

Establishing policies for secure handling, counting and recording of all gifts.

Preparing and managing a budget.

Conducting an external accounting audit annually.

Providing regular reports to our Trustees and to the Charity Commission.

Providing a financial report to the church.

Our annual accounts are also published by the Charity Commission.

HOW CAN I GIVE?
ONLINE GIVING
If you are not yet a regular giver, the easiest way to start giving to the work and life of the church is to use our online giving system.

GIVING ON A SUNDAY
We don't take cash donations, however on any given Sunday, or any day for that matter, you can give directly to us using your mobile banking app or by completing this online form.
PAYROLL GIVING VIA YOUR EMPLOYER
Many employers offer Payroll Giving which allows you to give directly to Hope Church from your salary before tax is deducted. To find out if your employer offers Payroll Giving, contact your HR office.
GIFT AID
Gift Aid is a UK tax incentive that enables tax-effective giving by individuals to charities in the United Kingdom. If you pay Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in the UK, we can claim back 25p on every £1 you donate through the Gift Aid scheme. Complete the Gift Aid Form online here.
